Fly away my little one, I need you to be free
but please stay close, cause I need you just as much as you need me.
Spread your wings and chase your dreams...
I want you to take flight
Leave this nest, and build your own,
But stay within my sight.
Reach for the moon, muff. and sail throughout the stars
Wait, stop right there, please come back, i think you've gone too far
Follow your heart everywhere...
Let it guide you when times are tough
Please be strong, and carry on
But come home when you've had enough.
Live the life your hoping for, we believe in you.
But if your scared, don't worry, there are lots of jobs to do.
Dive on in, it's sink or swim...
You're gonna be just fine
Just stay afloat, don't rock that boat
And if you need us we're not far behind.
So on with it baby girl, I need you to learn and see
But please my growing daughter,
Stay at home with dad and me.

I wrote this based on how I feel right now with my parents. Go, NO WAIT STOP I LOVE YOU...c'mon, you know?

Also..I am 99% sure there is an animal living in our house above my bedroom. Is it wrong that I don't want to ask it to leave because I am sure that it is comfy?

MARCH for Women's Lives - Washington D.C. April 25, 2004

One of the greatest weekends of my life. The March itself is nondescursive, and the only way you would ever understand is to find yourself among a million women who are all asking for equality together. Vietnam War Memorial...the wall. That also was an experience that I can not describe. Everyone felt something different, but all 8 of us young women felt it together. I danced in the reflecting pool, yeah that's the thing Jenny runs through at the protest to get to Forest. It was a remarkable weekend. I will never forget it, and I can't wait until my son or daughter comes home from school the day they read about it in their history books. What an amazing thing to be a part of.

Right now I feel close to almost no one. I have Mary Pat, my family, and Eric. I am hoping summer brings about great change.

Nothing like QT with the Fam-Fam. My baby cousin Greyson is the shit...he sleeps, and drools, and laughs, and oh what a life for me. He's amazingly adorable, and he wears Harley PJ's. Not to mention my bad ass 3 yr old cuz Bethany who is equally awesome. She was HIGHLARIUS! I am blessed to have such a functionally disfunctional family. Oh the drunken family on Easter saying things like...

"Oh you slut ! If you ever break another one of my cheap ass china plates!"
- My mom to my aunt.

"Pimp, Pimp....Daddy's getting a pimp bike."
- My 3 yr old cuz. about her Dad's new Harley.

Ian: "Shots...get your asses in here."
Me: "E..it's 11:30am?"
Ian:"Oh...we should have one of both then."

The more you care about someone or something...the more it destroys you when you doubt everything you've put into it. I'm lost.
